Conflict Resolution Training


The Conflict Resolution Training program is designed to examine the different forms and sources of conflict, and explore strategies and techniques useful in resolving professional or personal conflicts. The role of diversity factors in conflict will be addressed throughout the course. Whether participants come seeking skills to address conflicts they are involved in, or as intermediaries seeking to assist others, this program will:
- Explore values and attitudes about conflict – those handed down through their families, as well as those adopted through life experiences.

Assess their proficiency in remaining objective when confronted with conflict and examine the implications of this proficiency level when resolving conflict.

Consider cultural and other diversity factors that influence perceptions of conflict, and develop techniques for effectively resolving conflicts among diverse people.

Gain greater understanding of how personal core values and interests influence the conflict resolution process.

Develop skills in negotiating resolutions that are positive for all parties.
