38th Annual Food and Beverage Industry Humanitarian Awards Dinner
On September 6th, 2012, CCEJ celebrated its 38th Annual Food and Beverage Industries Humanitarian Awards Dinner and raised over $160,000 to support the organization’s Human Relations Programs.
This year the honourees were: Bob Ling, President, Unified Grocers, Inc; Jerry Hunter, Customer Business Manager, Kraft Foods; and Terry Quinn, Consultant, The Wine Group.
Dinner Chair Kevin Davis, President & CEO of Bristol Farms led an outstanding Dinner Committee. The honorees were recognized for their commitment to CCEJ’s vision and mission and for their outstanding contributions through the Food and Beverage Industry to build a greater understanding of and respect for different cultures.
For the second year running a silent auction was held to raise additional funds for a Food and Beverage Industry Building Bridges Camp and over $10,000 was raised through the auction and from donations. A big thank you to everyone who contributed!
